The process of planning and creating a design for your cake is one of the most fun and relaxed aspects of your wedding.  It allows your creativity and style to truly evolve and we will work closely together, thrashing out wedding cake ideas to ensure that your cake is not just everything that you want it to be, rather, it will be more than you could have ever dreamt it could be.

As soon as you know the date for your wedding and know that you are drawn to my style of cake I would advise that you contact me to check my availability. At this time it is helpful for you to give me as much information as possible in order that I can give you a ballpark cost for your cake.

- The date of your wedding

- The venue (this gives me an idea of the style of your wedding)

- Number of people you wish to serve

- Your budget

- Example of my previous cakes that have inspired you (I do not copy other artists cakes)

 I only take on two wedding cakes per week so space in my diary can be limited.

Once my availability is confirmed I ask for a small non-refundable deposit (£100) to secure your space. 

The next step is to book in a consultation with me, either in person or via zoom. I would personally recommend this is held around 6 months prior to your wedding primarily because in my experience as you become more involved in the process of organising your wedding your ideas solidify.  My cakes are very inspired by the flora and forna that you choose so I would definitely suggest holding off on the cake design until those are decided

I dispatch sample boxes twice a month throughout autumn and winter which you may order through my website. (The cost of one box can be redeemed against your booking)

Over the course of your consultation we will discuss design ideas. I will learn and understand the importance of ”The Cake’ to you,  establish what your style is, the theme and tone of your day, the venue, your styling and also your vibe so that the design of the cake truly enhances your day and helps tie everything together.  

Following your consultation I will send you over my design ideas along with a quote for your cake. 

The design will be tweaked over the course of the following week and once we are all happy that the cake is perfect for you I’ll reconfirm the quote with you.

Now all you have to do is sit back and relax, your hard work is complete and the rest is in my hands.

The countdown ...…. A month prior to the wedding I like you to firm up your flavours options, I will forward you a final invoice four weeks prior to the wedding.   

If I am making sugar flowers for you I will already have liaised with your florist to ensure that the colour pallet is correct and the process of hand making them will already be well underway   A week prior to the wedding I will confirm timings for set up and delivery with your venue.

On the big day….  Enjoy every second!

I will have delivered and set up your cake well in advance of you arriving so there is no need for you to worry about anything other than enjoying your beautiful day and eating delicious cake.
